Default Twin row radial

WOW!! I'll bet that thing will cost a kings ransom but you're right it would make a way cool 1/4 scale Warbird. The only thing I don't like is the exposed valve train. It would seem to me that dirt in the valve train parts would really increase wear on those parts. The big Moki radial marketed by RC Showcase is the same way. It is a brute for power though and I'd bet this engine is the same way. I'll bet this thing could swing a big three or four blade prop. With all of that reciprocating mass it should be real high torque. Hey Ray this might be the answer on a big Bearcat.

John, is Seidel still in business? I haven't seen an advertisement for them since Desert Aircraft used to carry them. Do they have a web site? Where did you find the photos?

Default jack

Jack I can see that on a really big 40% scale stearman or a nice 1/3 scale Corsair

Jack;
you reading my mind man........I am having absolutely no control over my respiration and heart rate right now.....Big Bearcat would be just too cool with each exhaust ring dumping into the scale locations.

JC......I hate you......(now how do I get one of those)

Methanol is easy to get, if you have dirt track racers in your neighborhood. I currently get it for $2.10 gal, mix it 50/50 with 15%nitro 20%oil glow fuel for my big tigers
