A little too large for my vehicle. I would also like to do ARFs till I retire. I have a couple of planes nearly ready to build when that time comes.

I know it's not popular but it is rare... I'd like to see this one in a 55cc range (85 inch)... the mains would use the Stuka rigging... The Spitfire Type 224

Here's a link they list the type 224 as one kit they cut but I can't get it to come up when entered in there search.
http://www.falcon-aviation.co.uk/ind...gn/?k=1547:2::

You may have to call them... I know you are an ARF basher kind of MAN but you may have to build this one.

I know it's been done before, but always in configuration that doesn't work for me: electric foamy, massive kit, or a profile glow. But a nice ARF of the Lockheed P-38 using DLE 20 RA (rear exhaust) would be very nice, IMO.

Grumman TBM Avenger with torpedo drop. The Grumman style rearward folding wings would be a real challenge.

SB2C Helldiver: Jerry Bates plans: 80" and 100" versions
D520: Jerry Bates plans: 67" and 89" versions
He-100: myunclewillies: 76" (1/5 scale)
Yak 3: Jerry Bates plans: 68" and 90" versions
Mig 3: Roman Research 1/4 scale
Typhoon and Tempest: 1/7 from Bob Holman plans; 1/6 from Sepp Uberlacher 1/5 from Vailly Aviation
Brewster Buffalo: Jerry Bates plans: 4 scales from 1/10 thru 1/4
Wildcat: 1/5 scale from Jerry Bates plans; Fiberglass fuse, cowl from Spychalla aircraft
Westland Whirlwind: 1/5 scale under development from Vanguard Vancouver. expect to be on market next year.

Ok so you might have to go to the trouble of ordering the plans from one source, a kit cut from another, and perhaps the cowl from yet another. SO WHAT! YOU WANT AN ARF? GO BUY AN ARF. YOU WANT SCALE you just might have to do a little work to get it.

p.s. here is my 1/5 He-100 currently undergoing rebuild.
Totally agree with scalebirdman, most of those airplanes plans and/or kits are available already, now gathering the material and building them is a different story.

ARF manufactures will never go through the trouble of producing these rare birds, because they know they will not be very popular.

By the way, I did not see the Dh Hornet mentioned at all and that was more than a fine airplane, speed record holder as well. With encouragement from the late Dan Parsons, I took the trouble to design, build, mold and fly this awesome twin in 2004. http://fliteskin.com/DHHornet.html

Other interesting subject in the back burner is the 1/6th Me262 and the English Electric Canberra for 2 electric fans.

[QUOTE=hellcat56;11913797]I built this many years ago
do you know what it is
only saw one in a magazine
(quote) I am impressed with your Douglas XTB2-1 Skypirate and photo dropping torpedoes. Can you tell me if built from RCM plans or your own design? RCM plan does not have retracts ,but at 87 inch WS should take a 90 to 1.2 engine or a 20 to 30 cc gas burner. If you are selling a different design PLEASE contact me, ZIGGY138

IN old issues of High Flight mag A Louis Pencost had plans for a 96 inch WS RC , he may have passed on and, he is NOT selling or replying at last known address. I am looking for a set of these myself, just may draw up my own about same size this winter.

Lifer and Sparky I found a guy that can enlarge or leave the plans the way they were drawn and cut the kit.
plans are by Tim Royle and is about 68.5" span
laser cut parts short kit is £142.50
they can enlarge the plan if required but obviously this would take a bit
longer to do.

If you find the plans, I'd like to buy a set... having it cut in the UK would be rough on shipping costs... I can have them enlarged here and cut by someone like PCK in the states.. who knows... Maybe this is the one I'd clear the build table for... haha

I asked that question because that's what I was thinking or I would cut them myself; I'm wating for a reply from Falcon.
You may want to email them if they see an interest they may sell them out right?

http://www.falcon-aviation.co.uk/

He just told me they will print plans: the price £12 for printout at original size about $15 USD plus shipping.

GUYS They have a long list of planes you don't always see that the offer laser cutting and plans for
you might want to check them out.

Urfa,

the 262 is pretty advanced already, we need to make molds. I'm also looking forward to Chad's 202, knowing his expertise, this will be Super scale model.
Nobody has paid attention to the Canberra, this is a one of a kind twin jet with lots of record breaking events and used in 25 countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Electric_Canberra

I think is a must do!
