RE: CMP P-51 50?
Here, I'll make you feel better and give you somewhat of a answer. I had the Corsair 50. Flew really good with a TT 91 FS but was a bear on the ground and to land. Wing was built very light and I had just a slight stall on takeoff and hit a wing tip first. It caused a crack in the wing at the gull and fractured the fibreglass fuse where the wing bolts are. I have it retired in the same condition. It is for sale! I don't know about the Mustang, but I am a fan of Kyosho ARFs, and although they don't have a Mustang available right now, I would suspect they will have a Mustang 50 out sometime this year, probably late in the year though.

Here Mate,
There has been a lot of discussion on this bird in the past both good and bad.
I have flown three of them and they do fly fine if set up properly and flown with respect. (read, speed)

Thanks, I guess I really knew the answer before I asked the question. I want to think that you could get a good arf for that price, but I know better. Thanks again

RE: CMP P-51 50?
just to let you know I own the CMP 50 size Zero , the P40 , the corsair and the mustang P51 , they are all great fliers , they all have there ups and downs , the CG on all 50 size CMP is listed WRONG ! set it up correctly and you'll have a great model and a great flier , just make sure you go 25% the wing cord as a balance point and you will be very happy with the end result
