Since there are no 47 updates. Yes I still check every day. I'll give you guys an update on my Little Fokker. All the main wood parts are built up. I'm working on the struts. This is the first time in my life that I had to do this. It's not that hard just labor intensive. They are all set up and soldered together. I have to mount the wood on it next. I'm planning on Glassing and painting the struts.

I also check every day or two to see if there is any up dates . We may not hear from pete till his dad thing wares off.

Iam still working on a bipe (barf) that has been in my shop fpr about 3 years just have to find an engine

I hear ya but with the move to new digs , new family the models will just have to take a back seat, He might be having maor fun this way.

We are having another Snow storm mabe a foot witn wind 40mph gust, and posibley another next week. So our flying season is getting off to a vary sloooow start

Those who don't know my Dad passed away early in the morning of Friday 8th March Brisbane time. We had the funeral the following Tuesday. Been a bit of a blur the last week. My partner Trudy did the service for us and it was quite beautiful, I am very blessed to have her in my life as she was a pillar of support for both myself and Mum.

Have gone back to work today and getting back to a normal life again. Step daughter and step Grandaughter have moved in with us as well so we are "packed to the rafters" pun intended! Lots and lots of boxes everywhere so my workshop has not progressed as you can imagine.

Hopefully I will be back to it in due course.

Ok you rascal's ware are you all hiding ?

Well have checked every thing over and waiting for spring and today it may have sprung/sprang ( whatever) but the ground is like spunge and you leave a foot print so maybe in a week we will get to fly

yeah the yard is coered in weeds and have sprayed all of those however with all the wet weather they keep growing like wildfire

Pete, not sure when Hervey Bay warbirds is on, I am not a member of SCAF any more, let my membership go when we moved further north knowing I am unlikely to get to many events. I will definitely be going to Bundy warbirds early June though. Still not sure about Tin Can Bay.

After reading you post I am glad we don't have the drama hear, at least in our club small about 40 blokes and all sizes small sparkies the big birds

damn right. Anyway I am off to Adeliade sparrow fart oclock with Trudy and her daughter and grandaughter, get to meet the rest of her family down there. Following weekend I will finish getting the workshop set up then I can get back to my planes.
