Hey Pete,

We are flying into Brisbane from Hong Kong tomorrow morning. We are sitting in the Qantas Club at Hong Kong airport at the moment waiting for our flight. Have been in Beijing for a few days and seen enough Emporial palaces and tombs to last us a lifetime!
Seriously though, it was a good trip and a place that is very different to other places we have been

china is very interesting, I spent 10 days in Beijing back in 2000, very interesting place. summer Palace, Forbidden city and the good ol wall. As our guide said, "at top of great wall, every body speak same language, pant, pant pant . . . "

I'm flying out to charleville then driving to Cunnamulla this morning, work trip to oversea one of my construction sites. Good to get away, take my mind off what haqs happened.

she is playing games over getting my stuff. why do women feel they have a right to do that to a man?

Mate, publish a couple of "slightly compromising photos" of her on the Net and tell her that unless you get your stuff, you will post series of full frontal nudes
That should do the trick

Well its been a week so have you got your gear back ?

Have been doing the repair on my 47 got the fuse all most finished, I am going to replace the soft mount plate with a 5/16 steel plate to get rid ot the lead in the chin, also going with a new cowl and heavyer dummy radial so may not have to add any additional wieghts. Will not try to match up all of the paint spots and colers just to give it the been in battle look, might even try a little weathering to see if I can do it.

Cheers Bob T

yeah have 99% of it, some small stuff I still don't have nd I have some of hers mixed up in my stuff as well. She wont talk so no idea what happens with all of it. think she had a mid life crisis and realisation that a wedding was about to happen was too much for her and she bolted.

Stupid woman.

Anyway getting shed set up, have some electrical work to do getting power into it and putting up lights and powerpoints but in a couple of weeks it should be ready to go and I will be back into my planes. Will but the wood kit for the seafury wing and will be getting back into the P47.
You can see it's cowl in the photo . . .

yeah I hear you. will be some time before I can afford to get into my own place. Each time a relationship falls apart it costs me a packet. Probably $15 or 20 k this time. Bloody women, promise thye earth then dump you cold when a little tempest comes along.

Well Bob. It's allways esy to say but hard to do. I'm speaking from experiance since I'm now married to my 3rd wife. It must be the charm since we are going to celebrate our 20th aniversery of our first date on the 18th of Dec.

It was hard on me to be by myself at first but eventualy I got used to it. I rather enjoyed my freedom and wasn't willing to give it up for a while. Then Debie came along and I knew I had it. Tried to break up with her but it didn't work for me so I went back and got her. Dated for 6 yrs in seperate households. By then I knew that this is going to work. Nothing is perfect in this world but were OK with that and get along great. Things are always changing but we are adapting as we go along.

I'm pretty fermiliar with rocky relationships and Nasty Ex's. I don't pay attention to them and don't let them bother me. With time I came to a realization that I didn't have to.

I just wish Pete the best cause I think I can relate to what hes going through.

yeah it is a weird one this. Even my copunsellor says she is acting irrantionally and it does not make sense. Once minute it is all perfect then poof nothing. Over a stupid bull s arguement about money of all things, me spending my own money.

I don't understnad her nasty behaviour at the present nor her tarnishing of my name and spewing every detail of our relationship to her handbag hit squad group of rabid man hating girlfriends. She is obsessed wth facebook and has all these rabid hanger on types on there who have filled her head with crap plus a very manipulative 23 yo daughter who caused major probs and was instrumental in splitting us up.

Definite lack of charachter on her part.

finally have internet on at home. Shed is coming along nicely, still have lights to put up and powerpoints to be wired in. But I am making good progress with it all. Fixed my old mower today, new O ring on the carm and new faceplate that house the float assembly, the primer bubble had split. New boot cover for spark plug lead/

3 pulls and it was running, had not been run since Nov 2009 so pretty happy with that. Yard all mowed! Needs whipper snippering but that can wait till the weekend.

Started dating too, why feel sorry for myself? She dumped me so clearly I was not with it and neither is she. P~~~~

Just a note to wish everyone a very Merry and Blessed Christmas and asafe, prosporous New Year. I'm on leave (vacation) from this afternoon and not back to work till 6 Jan and so looking forward to the break.

Will be getting the workshop setup properly over next few days and then back into the P47. 2014 wil be the year!!

Ordering the seafury wing kit over the weekend will also be into that as I need that bird back in the air! No females to distract me for the present so no excuses!

cheers
Peter
