TONY ECK 1/5 Hurricane
Hello guy's this is the latest project in the shop, Neville is working on this one.
We got the plans from an air show we went to a few years ago.
They’re by Tony Eck they where 1/8 or 1/6 scale. The model was originally meant for a 40 size engine with a 55 inch wing span. We blew it up to a 96 inch wingspan somewhere around 1/5 scale now. Power will be a Brison 4.2 and retracts still not sure on who's to use. Anyway enough
Talking here are some pics

HI All
Very impressive wood work. From the pic of the wing it looks like a two piece wing swept back from the No.1 rib. The Hurricane has a unique 3 piece wing with its outer wing panels angled up aprox at the LG location. ???
Fuse looks like a lot of work, I have the B Taylor huuricane that I can't get myself to start on yet.
