Default DECALS

WARBIRD EXPERTS,
Anyone out there know where I might be able to locate "FRENCH NAVY DECALS" for a CORSAIR? The roundels & the anchor that is on the rudder.
Thanks in advance,
Ctflyboy

I know where you can have them custom made if you can't find them. Talk to Jim at www.cal-grafx.com, email address is [email protected]. He makes up all of my decals, and he can make just about anything you want if you can send him a photograph. Here's my latest plane. The stars and bars are water-slide; the rest are vinyl. They've held up flawlessly since mid last summer.

Mr.Ralph Schnider. He can make any decals you want. He just made a set of Israeli AF decals for my F-16 and they are awesome! Took 2 weeks to receive them and they are water transfer. He even sends you a CD with application techniques, an application solution, a solvent that will melt the decals into the paint (they look like painted on afterwards) and a 2000 grit sponge to "smooth out" the area.

I will be a permanent costumer from now on.

This is his email. Very classy guy.

FalconWings,
How much did you have to pay for the F-16 decals?

Well they run for about $90, but I got them for much less. By the way the guy is in Germany.

I paid $100 for an Aeroloft set similar to the one from Ralph, and I barely got anything. Simply not enough decals included, plus no tools.
And Pro-mark is just ridiculous in price, didn't bother to check them out.
I assume if you were only looking for some French Roundels and some serial numbers it would be much less.

This is how they look:

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned it, but if you have an ink jet printer and if you can find the artwork somewhere, you can print your own decals.

Get the paper from http://www.beldecal.com

I did research that possibility some time ago, but unfortunately there are very few printers that will print white!

OK try these. See if this is what you were looking for...French emblems
Try the printer method to make decals. Should get good results.

Hey guys.

I'm a new in RCU and i found it a great site. My name is Raudel Sánchez and i live in Havanna Kuba.

¿Is there any info to make my own decals? I'm intended to build a 1/5 Spit Mk IX, from a Mick Reeves plans and i'm gathering all the info i can.
As far as we don't have any hobby shops and credit cards are only authorized to strangers that have companies here and we can't send money ordes out of Kuba, so i have to scratch built almost everything, including the decals.

Hope you can lend a hand.

Regards.

Raudel.
