Richard,
Beautiful plane, just beautiful!
You mentioned gear doors a few posts back. Do you have any models incorporating functioning gear doors? If so, any pics, tips? I'm getting ready to start my TF 1/7 P-51 build and am looking for all the help I can get ( only my second kit build ).

Thanks. I have a TF 1/7 P-51 with functional inner gear doors, but I would need to sink the retract mechanisms deeper into the wing to get the gear doors to lie flushed with the wing surface. This means shaving the retract mounts or move them deeper into the wing.

Do you have any photos of your TF P51, construction and/or finished product. What motor did you put in it?
Thanks for your time,

Richard what are the threaded holes for on the Robart's? the small ones you see when the gear is up?

I'm not sure what those threaded holes are for. Maybe they are for attaching the gear door?
