That is why I am using Nelsons I can spray it in the garage and after about 3 min I can move it in to the shop to dry in about 2hrs. I like KK but you all most have to have a paint both. plus the nelsons is water clean up.
Just this old coot's thinking
If the weather guys are right looks like we are in for some more cold and possibly snow in the next 5 days baaaa hum bug

Also need to paint his shoes brown. It was an insult to be called a black shoe pilot.
Tonight I finally opened the bag containing the TF Cockpit. What a piece of ….plastic.
I don't mind building and detailing, that's what we're all about right.. but this seems like a TON of work to make it look good and it will still be a piece of ….plastic. Which leads to my second problem. I placed an order for an instrument panel from Iflytailies. They are really really nice but not cheap. Starting to spend a ton of money on this plane and starting to think I should just build it and save the big money and time on details for a more scale Corsair.
OH…I almost forgot.. Hobbico screwed the parts order for my spar pieces again !!!… 4th time.
This time I sent a picture and asked that they train on knowing the difference between lite ply and birch.
I not have 8… YES… 8 CRGW01 Birch ply pieces I do not need !!!

That's all I use is Nelsons paints. I love the stuff. Its a Systems 3 yatch paint and when properly applied is next to impossible to remove. The biggest reason I started using it was as Bob said, its almost odorless. I paint right in my basement, year round, and my wife don't even know until I show her. Shoots well, wets well, fuel proof, and water cleanup. And no, I don't work for John. just like his paint.

Ibow24, When I built my kit I started to use the 1/8th balsa supplied in the kit. I switched to 3/32 after the 1/8th started to split after wetting it. Mainly used the 3/32 in the rear to help keep it light. So my suggestion is go with the 3/32. You will be happier. John T. Corsair brotherhood #96

Guys from what I have it looks like I took out 1 inch between the angle and the knee, folded the pants up into the pants and just hot glued the foot back on, and unless you have a sliding canopy you can't se it any way

Hi George
Because I am still working part time I only get to check the threads between 5:30 am and again early evening between what ever I am trying do on my Corsair and the Weeks. Have all most got all of the primer on the Corsair and wet sanded and now the weather has gone in the toilet cold/wet may get snow and freezing rain.
Baaaa- hum bug

Back a long time ago 81 or 82 we had a sod farm that would let us fly from and there was a fellow that had one of the original kits Nosen and it flew great one of the first gas birds I seen don't remember what engine, and from what I remember do to the narrow gear it was a bit tricky on take off's but other wise was a good bird
Managed to squirt some primer on the weeks cowl and fuse repair and get it in to the shop for drying, now while that is happening will be doing some wet sanding on the Corsair flap segments
To day is my day off

I am sure it was the nulligan and the fact it was an early Nosen kit when they were kitted in Duluth MN and what I don't know is if the builder followed the plans etc I just remember it doing a couple of ground loops during take off attempts, as it is rather short coupled.
The builder flew it for about 3 seasons .
Just a side note I still have 2 boxes of balsa/ply material that I got from them, So when ever I build and find a bad piece in a kit that is my go to stock all 4ft. length 4 inch wide 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 3/16 , 1/4 1/64 1/8 ac , and 3/16 ply always stocked standing on end, so still no warps
cheers Bob T
