RE: Will build for food!
Thanks Richard. The Ziroli Bearcat to be started later this week will be done in your Avatar photo on a total build diary. I'll start a thread for it when I begin.

RE: Will build for food!
I'll be well versed in the Grumman craft after this winter that's for sure....a Z Hellcat too. Feel free to keep me in mind Richard. I do like to build, and you'll see where I'm at on the build threads to reference a timetable for a bigger project like this. Seems like there's a bit of a comparative shortage of step-by-step build threads on both these planes, so I'll do what I can for the cause. I realize the thread might be kind of a longer term thing due to how long it takes to put these things together. No problem...I'm not going anywhere.

RE: Will build for food!
Mike:
I have a TF P-51 kit that i have partially built. it has the wings built and sheeted, stab sheeted, no ailerons or flaps, rudder built, fin built, neither sheeted. fuse is framed but not enclosed.
after i bought the kit and started to build it, they came out with the arf. so, i stopped the kit and finished the arf. i just don't have the time to build the kit with the development project going on.
so, i would be interested in trading the partially built kit for going over my not flow FiberClassics P-51 that someone else built (and not too well) to make sure it is airworthy. many things are done quite nicely and others are really not nice at all.
let me know if this is of any interest as i know you are full up for now.
cheers
joe
