Here is my new Royal B-17 found it at a sale for $10.00. Does anyone know the CG from the LE of the wing on this plane I have no plans and need the exact measurement. Thanks!

According to the plans it is 125 to 127 mm from the leading edge of the wing at the fuselage.
I have one here that has been partially framed up for OS .26 fourstrokes but have decided that it probably will be too heavy to be a realistic flyer.

1/3 the wing width at the widest point,Near the fuse.If it was built like the plans called for its going to be tail heavy and balance it upside down.If it turns out to be tail heavy and is gonna take alot of weight,Move the engines out farther from the fire walls and that will cut down the weight your going to have to add.You might have to go in and lighten the tail some to get balance better. It should be slightly nose heavy,Just slightly. To tail heavy, after about the third
time you correct it climbing it going to stall and come down in a flat spin.Looks cool and scale untill it hits the ground flat.

I just picked this plane up complete with 4 OS26FS's, all servo's and flight pack for 200.00! He said it flew nicely but real quick. It was flown only 6 times and is in very nice shape. I will get pics once it stops raining and I can get it out of the truck. Anyone else have any pointers on flying this beauty?

a fellow club member built one and had it on display at the local airshow when I asked him how it flew he said it has a really sensitive elevator and wanted to porpose quite a bit with the recomended CG and that it was a handfull in the air.
it is a cool looking plane having actually seen one built I thought it would have been bigger, his is now a hangar queen.
