Meister 190D
Just finished up the latest from the swamp. It's a 101in Meister 190D, fuse and tail scratch built with a custom cut foam core wing. I like the foam better for ease of construction and to get an airfoil about a half an inch thicker at the wheel wells. This lets me have a wider choise of wheels and keep the scale axle to strut angle. I used Shindin Machine retracts, and a 4.8 Sachs twin modified by Ralph C.
The Meister designs have a very wide flight envelope. The wing performs great at WOT for all the manuvers, and slows to a crawl for landing. Ralph did a great job on the engine with the ignition, machined prop hub and dual carbs and manifolds, it screams. I put a couple maidens on it and it is a blast.

RE: Meister 190D
Lenny, You used a foam wing eh? You cut that too? I've got another set of Shindin gear to install in a new Holman A version, after doing my IMP Dora gear install recently. Yours sure is impressive. That fuse doesn't look very friendly towards fitting in my SUV if I go bigger later on. Pretty much a trailer mandate with this plane you think? What did you use for servos on the control surfaces?
