Even if he refunded you there is an attempted fraud, there is simply no way you would have got the refund had you not persued him, and that is how he lives, people are prepared to loose a certain ammount, way of life these days, write it off. He trades on that principle. If you have lost even one cent or one penny it needs reporting to the Police. If you name the thief or attempted thief the police have little option but to prosecute in the UK, all that matters here are statistics and once a known named individual starts to affect their statistics then they will act. You will not get justice, be under no illusions of that the way our courts behave, but eventually if he is brought before them enough times they will act, not from justice but simply that they have the power and want a quiet life.

Anyone who needs more details of who to contact please get in touch, he needs stopping.

Just received this mass emailing from the Air Warfare Forum, be wary of this guy.

scale modelling hobby. Thief Richard Morgan is still very active, he is scamming
boat owners and fishermen now but it has been noticed on one of hs 19 Ebay
acounts that he is again listing Scale model plans. His last ebay ID was
Lobsteradam, he traded on it for less than a month actively as he tends to do,
out of the 50 odd trades 30 + were scammed and they were only the ones that
actually let him a negative. he also got ebay to remove some 6-8 feedback for
people refusing to pay, they smelt a rat with the Paypal / cash scam. (next
para) He offers paypal but when you contact him he gives a story about his
paypall being hacked or some such and reqests you send cash, PO, Cheque, bank

Two lots of plans listed at the bottom Reporting it to Ebay UK is a total waste
of time, this is done every time he is discovered and nothing ever happens. Hope

Chad and everybody,

After 3 years I finaly got to know that sadly not only myself but so many others were scammed by this guy; myself for more than 1300€.
I contacted today 25th October 2008 the local police in the UK/Cambridgeshire; mentioned in this tread via mail.
If anyone has some latest news please contact me ( also privatly if possible [email protected]). I am definitly gooing to look for some legal action.
This hobby is to beautifull to let it be spoiled/ruined by people like this Richard W.Morgan/uk

Hi all, sorry to hear of your problems with Rich Morgan. I am a moderator of a fishing forum in the UK and many of our own members have also been scammed by this lowlife. One of our guys, Bassy, has taken a special interest in Mr Morgan and has posted a great number of links to his misdeeds. Between us I hope we can get this scumbag locked up.

We have his address in the UK if it is of any use to you. Not sure what you can do from there but I can assure you it is only a matter of time before he comes seriously unstuck!
