Dear wulfy,

after reviewing your thread, I now see a problem with your build.
it appears that you have about 3 degrees of wash in for your wings.
this is wrong. please fix.

reguards,

the inspector general
Hmmm, I believe the I/G has a point. This could cause severe problems, when trying to avoid orange fences.

Yes, all that wash-inny, no worky= plane crashy Hung it up on the ceiling in the shop to get some floor space the other day and it was the first time it was officially in the air! It looks good up there....hope it doesn't get used to hanging on the ceiling too long....ahem. I hope the bottom side is the one I continue to see most often on the maiden!

Probably start fiddling with the trailing arm links later today. [&o]

Gotta watch out for ceiling-itis. The Putz Brother has it and it may be contagious.

Yes Tom, I've noticed that....perhaps that Putzter fellow is the original carrier of the C.I. (you know-- like the commercials on t.v. say E.D. for...uh..well...you know) . I guess I limit chances with that since the ceilings in my house are only 7 ft. and when things hang in the ceiling of my workroom I bash my head on the muffler pipes sticking out the bottom....[:@] Good way to avoid letting them hang there for too long. I just stuck bubble wrap on the bottom of the F4U after it drew blood on one good head bashing in "A Christmas Story" style with the four letter words flying.

Mike, I just talked to Anton. He's looking forward to seeing your Dora when you and he are up here. You have to keep working on her.

Will do. Trying to do a little something each day, but tough. There's really not that much to do before starting finish work and glassing the wing and priming. I guess just the wheel well and landing gear stuff, hatches on the wing bottom and doing the hinges on the flaps and connections to the wing is it really....so if not RTF by then, should at least have a good dose of colors on it. Those rivets will take a week or so by themselves, but at least the fuse lines are already in there. Usually at this point it might take me about a month to do everything, but with the other stuff around here, we might be close. I'll feel better about it when I get some primer on. But, yeah, looking forward to the fly-in. We'll have a nice gathering of planes there.

Since we're having a gear door party. Thought I would join in, Yes it is currently hanging on the ceiling, till I get the 182 maiden out of the way. Mike, If you think all the rivets on that thing are only going to take a week or so. You must plan on not sleeping. Or using some type of performance enhancing drug. Tom, Mike and Todd, will be talking to you clowns sometime over the weekend.

LOL....you're probably right....Todd knows about my history with medication--ahem (no---not a recovering alcoholic or anything--and I suspect Todd will never let me live down this "dirty little secret"), and I am MOST certain that he would know that I shouldn't rely upon my knowledge of medicine to improve my performance in this situation based on previous experience. I'll stick to the coffee. [X(] You guys are getting me ready to scratch where it itches on this thing [X(]....must fire up the Fuchsgraben Polka and get to work.

I think I've sufficiently put the cat out of the bag on this one already Todd... Probably worse being known as a "secret keeper" than a malinformed, medicinal hack with good intentions....I might be too embarrassed to tell that story again now though.....so go ahead, I still lose to my 4 year old niece at Don't Spill the Beans, so spare me the misery and get it over with....I know Putzer could never have a laugh at my expense . There's a price to pay either way now.
