Looking for Bomb Release for F6F Hellcat.

Hello -

I'm looking for three release mechanisms for my Ziroli F6F. Have not had much luck finding quality units. Anyone know where to get a Vortek release? Have been told they are good. Any suggestions or comments greatly appreciated

My understanding is that the vortek release mechanisms are no longer available. However, Yellow Aircraft sells a very similar one in 2 different sizes. http://www.yellowaircraft.com/accessories/access4.htm

Hey Brian,
Vortek's are now discontinued altho you may see them on ebay from time to time.
Seems like Bob Violet's company (the jet guy) had some a while back. Sorry I dont have a link to his company but do an internet search for his company and see what you come up with. Hope this helps you....

They have releases that are very close to the vortek releases. Two sizes to choose from and the price is very reasonable.
