67 Inch "grasshopper"
I recently acquired a partially built CG Anniversiary edition cub that I decided to do in a military scheme. I know it isn't full scale, and doens't have the full greenhouse, but this was my first attempt at fabric, and paint, and I was fairly pleased with the outcome. I'm still kicking around the clear coating. I've used Polyurothane, and I'm now afraid it might not be fuel proof. I have several more coats to go, and then a final cure of at least two weeks before I even fire up the engine, but here are the pics of the project so far:

RE: 67 Inch "grasshopper"
Thanks
I did a bunch of research, but couldn't find any pics of an L-4 without a greenhouse. I just went with the ones that had the greenhouses, and also the pic on the kit box. I didn't put a stars and bars on the bottom right side of the wing because it would get lost in the checkerboard, so I left it alone. I'm going to have my wife paint a grasshopper for some nose art, and finish the seal-coating. I need to do something with the gear--maybe a home-made support of sorts, but it needs something scale. Also, the tail wires. Other than that, I was pleased with the turnout....
