Rob, I am reconstucting the wildthing 2 and putting in a rossi 45 with nitro pipe. This baby should move at 3 lbs.
Today I will finish up the painting on the P51 and hopefully tomarrow I will panel line and feather the lines with a air brush.
Crissy saw it yeasterday fro the first time and I got big wow out of her so it must look good... lol
Well friend get well and come over so we can paint you saber... Lets panel line it with 1/16 tape and then primer it. hey do you have a color scheme for it yet?

Gotta love T/F
Thats a great looking Mustang! how many hours do you think you got into it? If remember right i think i had 250+ hours into my T/F .60/1.20 size P-51 I have done many of T/Fs warbirds and have to say they have one of the best if not thee best build up kits out there! I have also owned their P-40E and my dad has owned the P-51s (and Giant Scale) as well as the P-47. We have had great luck with the way they build and fly, matter a fact i have another .60 size P-51 on the bench as we speak good luck with it im sure you will love it!

StregaMustang7 this has been an ongoing project over the last 5 years. Vic patterson built this bird I finished it all though we have probably a combining 250 + hours on it I have at least 30 to 40 hours in the paint job its just been a on and off project over the last 5 years. I needed to finish this bird for other project that I have on going to like the Mig 25 FOX BAT and second Hotspot I have 30 % completed...

BirdofpraY,
Like your Stang. When I do silver, and try to accent panel lines I've found that a little is a lot. All I do is add a little black to the silver, mask the panel line with paper and electical tape and spray VERY lightly. Here is a few pictures of the effect on my Royal P-51:

it weigh's right at 31 lbs and for power it has supertiger 4500 with onboard glow. I thought it would never fly with that much weight but it proved me wrong it flew more scale than I have ever imagine. it was one of the most beautiful fly P-51's I had ever seen. Trim was one click of up and two clicks of left... Vic you build streight and I balanced perfict..
