Default Robart Hinges, Glue?

Just wondering what you guys are using to glue your Robart hinge points? I was thinking either 30-minute epoxy or Gorilla glue?

Thanks,
Tony

30 minute epoxy is all I use. I've had problems with gorilla glue on hinges before. Seems like over a period of time gorilla glue lets go if it gets fuel soaked and the hinges will pull out of it.

I add a little micro ballons to the 30 minute epoxy ... it's hard as a rock... and has never let me down

Epoxy is the glue I have used for years. No problems, and I use alcohol to keep the hinge joint free of any excess glue that might squeeze out. I have not used Gorrilla glue, so dont know of any problems other than what I have read or heard about.

Aeropoxy from BVM. I've used epoxy for years, after using aeropoxy............ I threw all of my epoxy in the trash! Yeah, it's expensive, but it's worth it!

I use epoxy too and add a little vaseline on the hinge pin first. This keeps them free from epoxy.

Using a small squeeze bottle with a probe attached, I put the probe in the hinge hole, and fill the hole with Elmers yellow aliphatic wood glue..also apply a thin coat on the hinge point, aand gently rotate the hinge while pushing it in....there is no mess to clean up...Install hinges one at a time, as the glue swells the surrounding balsa. I have used this method for years, on giant scale planes of 23#, with no problems...
