Default Tucano Test Flight -> video

This is a short video of one of the maiden flights on this Tucano Turbo Prop giant scale (not sure if its 30%~35%)

Tucano is a Brazilian short range air-ground, air-air, attack fighter airplane. Exported to Italy, Spain, UK and other countries , including most of south american republics.

Nice to see and hear a prop plane, scale like this, flying powered by turbine, as the original one is.

Those sure look alot like the Pilatus PC-9, another turboprop.
Is there any relationship between the two aircraft?

I have never seen the Pilatus PC-9 before, but they look a lot like each other.

Just comparing the pics i saw that the horizontal stab is in a foreward position in the pc-9 , also, the exhaust is in the midle of the nacele, in the tucano, it has a lower positon. The cockpit is tandem type in both, but in the tucano, the rear pilot is far higher than the front one. In the PC-9 , it look like they are in the same level...

But they are a nice match!

Hi All
The two aircraft in question have nothing to do with each other the pc 9 is made by Pilatus and the Tucano is biult by the shorts company, very similar though. I have had models of both and they flew very well.

Finally got around to watching the video.
Very nice airplane, sir. I'm sure you'll take
good care of her. I hope I can have one of
those someday!

About the Pilatus PC-9, it is also liscense
built by Raytheon as the "T-6A Texan II"
