Default Panel Lines Over Silver Monokote?

Does anybody have a good technique for doing simple panel lines on silver Monokote, Ultracote, or other film?

I'm not interested in using a black Sharpie, although that's easy. Too stark. Maybe a gray Sharpie, instead?

What about using a thin gray striping tape? Do Chartpak tapes come in gray?

Any advice for rivets? Do dry transfers stick to film?

One option for panel lines is to use Monokote cut to the width you need for your scale.

Flanker,

In response to the dry transfer question. I have used them and they worked out great. Just remember as with alot of other detailing options you must fuel proof them afterward. As for your panel lines a gray sharpie and then as before fuel proof.

Best of luck,

Murf

PS look at my galley for lettering on the T-34 danger line, those are dry transfer.

Hi Flanker

like i posted on the other forum, it is also possible to go with waterslide or stick on details. Both will athere very well to films.
As murf said, they will need a clear coated afterwards, mainly for durability reasons (they are not scratch-proof).

Best regards
Hank
