Between gluing the webing on spars and glying the stab tubes i often take a quick look at the rcuniverse.
Is it posible that no one else is building this plane now?

Hi,
I am still building this plane. I am just very slow. I do not know of any others building one from start to finish during this post.
Thanks,
X3

X3, I just found these. I can't tell you how happy this makes me! I just printed them and am off to tape them together. You are so awesome for sending these, thank you so much. I've been really stuck on the LG and have been trying to get a buddy who is an expert builder to help. This should help immensely. I thought I was receiving emails when new posts came up on this thread, but must have missed it until now. I will post my progress assuming I'm successful in proceeding with the retracts.

Coka:

Did you ever get it finished? Would love to see it. Enjoyed your string. I am just starting mine - collecting all the bits and fiddly bits.

Hello friends

Glad to hear that somebody is building those huge jugs.
I was building my till last april and thats when the weather goes better so it was flying time.
Now since the winter begun, i continued working.
Naturaly being lazu, i didnt write about it on rcu, but you can see some fragments here

http://rcfly4um.org/index.php?topic=6071.0

I know that you wont understand a bit, but there are a lots of pictures.
Few weeks ago, i manage to find a nice set of electric retracts, through my friend Stephen, who helped me a lot.
So these days, the work is going to be continued.
Im in no rush to make it airworthy. I enjoy in this big project because it consume every minut of my winter spare time.
Hope that im going to hawe as mutch fun flying it.

Coka

I too just got a BN P-47 with the wing and fuse just formed up. I can still put the retract mods and everything in it. I just need anything I can get too. It was part of a big collection so I'm not sure if I have everything that came in the kit or not. I even has to check what plans I have as there is a bunch of them in a box. I know some of the Nosen plans are there but not sure all of them are.

Just dragging up an old thread i've come across. How is everyone travelling with their P47's.

I've got the plans and a G62 waiting in the wings to get started on.

The fuse of mine is in a pvc craddle strapped down to the floor of my 12 foot enclosed utility trailer and the wing is secured to one wall. It will not fit anywhere else...lol

Still here. I just have not had time to complete this build. Its on the list. Still need to complete the servo pockets in the wing and continue with this monster. To those looking for the manual for the kit, there really is not one of much use. The manual is just a page or two of general instruction. There is no manual with step by step instructions.......
Thanks,
X3heimmr
