Hi easytiger,I've just picked mine up from my LHS. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she's beautiful, and the optional retracts are just too much. Oleo shocks, operational wheel doors???,and looks so scale. I've just retired, and after 45 years of no holidays,(self employed),I'm looking forward to starting on this babe. Will post pics when the time comes. Not cheap, but she looks worth it.

Cheers,
Fearless

It flys beautifully. I have flown 2 different ones now and they are both stunning. I even had a right engine out during a low level pass and made a full left hand curcuit on 1 engine to a easy landing, I just flew with about half rudder and gentle turns. Its by far the easiest, most predictable twin I have ever flown. When you deploy the flaps its just comes in at a walking pace you will love it.

Ignore the gear doors on this one, its a prototype.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOU GENTLEMEN USED FOR CREW FIGURES IN YOUR VQ BLACK WIDOW? PICTURES OF THE THREE FIGURES THAT ARE BEING OFFERED FOR SALE APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN SCULPTED BY A HUNG-OVER PICASSO USING A CAN OPENER ON PAPER MACHE!

I'M ALSO WONDERING WHAT THE MEASURED, OVER-ALL SIZE, OF THE FIGURES SHOULD BE. YES, I KNOW THE PLANE IS 1/9 SCALE...BUT THAT'S NOT THE SAME SCALE USED FOR HUMAN FIGURES.

THANKS, GUYS!

JERRY

There's a rather large build thread of this plane in the twin&multi engines forum. You should look there for more insight into this kit.
