RE: Warbirds
Wrong! Its good only if you like the big crowd and lining up to fly. Warbirds over PA is much better. Nice crowd. very nice field. Here is a pic of the field and a link to last years warbirds meet.
However WOD is good if you are just going to watch and to buy stuff because the venders are there in full force.

RE: Warbirds
I go to both every year and each event has it positives and negatives.
WOD: By far it's the biggest event for warbirds in the Northeast with a lot of neat and unusual stuff to see. I would not say it is a good event to go to if you want to fly a lot. Standing in line to fly is not my idea of fun. One thing I really did not like last year was the selling of "pit passes" to anyone. I saw many rudders kicked and planes fondled.
WOP: No comparison to WOD. This is more of an event to go and fly as much as you like at a great field with a great bunch of people.
I again plan on going to both events this year because both are great in their own way.

I sure as the Devil would have W O D pay for damages to my plane if they made money on the damages to my plane!!
Where is the AMA and other flying groups on this about spectators being next to running engines ?
That smells of prop injuries and lawyers down the road.
