Hi Texan , yes I remember the filler , yes this is acrylic filler. I can't find the metal box of this filler ,any way the filler is made here in Bulgaria , is very good filler for wood .I don't know what you can find in Stockholm, SWEDEN like substitute, but must be acrylic if you make the plug from striro-(foam ) BUT if you use glass foam (yellow foam ) you can use on the surface any fillers

here you can see this

You must search for acrylic putty for wood in Google

This is Bulgarian product but you can't buy from there I think .......

Nice work Rumen.

I wish I had the ability to work metal. But right now I barely have the time to put balsa together.

Is there anything you can't do, Fokke? Wow....very impressive! Maybe you should try machining your own engine one of these days, too!

for his own engine he would be better off to machine a mold and die to "cast" his own engine and then bore out the cylinder and insert a sleeve for the piston and bore the lower end as necessary to fit the appropriate size crank and bearings.

Sundance2018 I will be able to make 2-3 engines scale DB 601 1/5 for a day with my pocket knife

I-fly-any-and-all I could not get all you said as my English is not so good. I can make my basic engine from paper as well if I want , cose I am so good scale builder ))))))))

My own engine is good for my airplane I thing , so I hope will run good

I was just going about that it is easier to pour liquid aluminum (cast) to make a engine.
machining one would be more dificult.
