It's much better than using measurements. One can see the exact clearances everywhere.
My engine is running on CDI. No glow plug ignition. It gets 70% better fuel economy than on glow ignition. It turns an 18 x 8 propeller @ 8000 RPM on 15% nitro.
I can open Pdf that are already in my computer but for some reason, I can no longer download Pdf. The links fail to open.
Thanks for your help. I think your BF190E will be my next project after completing my FW190A5 version of the Top Flite ARF. That will be powered by a CDI/methanol version of the Saito 450R3D with 180 pots. (5.12 cu in/84cc)
I was going to do an 83" Brian Taylor Mk I-V Spitfire for the 200Ti, but I like the construction of your 109 better.

Hi Fokke , you can make a manifold with 6 copper plumbing elbows threaded and JB welded to a 1/4 thick billet plate which is then riveted to 1 inch square aluminum tubing with the end welded shut at one end and the firewall mount at the front . At this end you can make the tube which reaches the exhaust https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UnhrqFTCfk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwZ5OFGIFk8 These are clips from mine . I made the exhaust like in the description

It's a 63 " wingspan Pica Kit that I put together , took a long time to finish . Started in 94 finished in 2000 . Dave Platt design before Pica bought him out . Turned out really heavy 12 lbs + but still flies really well. OS91 4 stroke . The cowl came loose at one point and the prop chewed it up so now it looks even more weathered with the unpainted repair . The exhaust sits in a closed off balsa box coated with epoxy on the inside so the fuel doesn't soak . It's mounted with 2 tabs on the firewall with rubber wellnut plugs and air can get around it and exits around the stacks to cool the system off somewhat . It broke a few times but after several re-engineers it's pretty much bullet proof now .
