Default H9 Warbirds +.91and1.00

Have NIB Saito 100 and like new OS91Surpass11. Have new H9 Spitfire on order for end of next week. Fairly new to flying and never had a warbird. Spitfire rated for .72 to 1.00;most of the rest of H9 warbirds rated for .91 to 1.00. I will get a second warbird maybe P40 or Corsair. Should I put .91 in Spit since rated for smaller motors and use 1.00 on P-40 or is there really enough difference to matter. THANKS,RACJ

I don't think it will really matter .... all the H9 warbirds seem to like the Saito 100 (I wonder why??? ) and the OS will do you just fine in either plane.

I have an 10.5 lbs Corsair and P-40 (both top flite) and they perform wonderfully on the O.S. 91 Surpass II and a 14x8 I'm going to try a 14x6 this year to see if that works any better.

Thanks guys, I thought too much may have been made over power for these planes. I want GOOD(a little more than scale)performance from these warbirds but not all out speed . THANKS again,RACJ

my friend had me test fly his hanger 9 spitfire with a very well worn in saito 100. it gave it alot of power!! your .91 well fly it just fine. i would put the .91 in the spit and put the 100 in your next one also.

I have a OS91fs in my H-9 P-40 it flys great it leaps into the air and has plenty of power, I also just finished a H-9 Mustang also with a 91fs and not forseing any power shortage either, here is my stang after the first run in, the valve cover just barely sticks out of the cowl.

Thanks guys,I appreciate all the help. Nice looking Mustang bigtim. I have H9 P51 PTS as my second plane. EVO engine does great but I putting OS70Surpass11 in it next week just for the sound Not quite as big as 60 size H9's but a great pilot at club makes it do Everything now that all trainer equipment is off. Took me forever to get him to do it with my plane but he can flat spin the snot out of it. I'm keeping it and learning on it. THANKS,RACJ
