Iīm afraid of I donīt have the link yet. I have those pictures for a long time in my PC. I put DLE 30 in my first ESM Stuka, but now I would like to fly her with ROTO 25. ESM La-7 is a great flyer with.ROTO 35.
Probably in this thread you could find some more shots you need for your La-7. I will post some more shots of the cockpit.

Had three flights with the Stuka yesterday.
The first takeoff was excellent, up to the point it left the runway. It then went vertically up. After some juggling, I got it trimmed out, although I ran out of down elevator trim.
After some elevator sub trim adjustments, the second flight was excellent. The Stuka was like a trainer. No landing problems.
The third flight was also good until the end The Stuka had been converted to electric by the previous owner. Not being used to electric models, I overstayed my welcome in the air & the motor battery went flat within a few seconds of noticing the drop in power. I had an awkward landing & broke the prop.
Once trimmed out, the Stuka flew very well, with no tip stalls on slow landings. I had programmed a little crow to help.
I have the C of G at 117mm & that seemed perfect.
I am not a fan of electric power, so I am fitting a DLE30 I have spare
A bonus was, a guy at our club bought the electric motor & ESC, so that will pay for three, or four new props.

Thanks. I found that the more flap I used, it made the model more unstable on the ailerons & did not help the landing.
I think it best not to use any flaps.

Thanks Prekin... Jim...I think, but not sure because it's been so long , that way back in this thread some people were talking about the same problem with dramatic pitch up and the solution was to make sure the cord of the ailerons are on the same angle as the cord of the wing.... If you already knew that and checked it out then it must be something else. Just saying

The pitch up was my fault. The elevator was not set exactly in line with the tail. It is important to double check this point. Once adjusted, there was no further problem.
I had set the flaps in line with the underside of the wing & the ailerons to match up with the flap position. This was perfect for me.
I think some of the other pitch up problems some are experiencing, could be due to a rear c of g, causing the elevator setting to be even more critical & sensitive.
I have mine set at 117mm & would not want it any further back.
With about 5mm of crow dialed in for landing, I could not get it to tip stall. On my second landing, I held it just off the runway & it eventually settled down at walking pace.

Do you talk about the pitch up during opened flaps? I use to solve this problem by flaps+ elevetor mix.

The first exhaust line is done. Iīm looking forward to the moment when I put the painted stubs into the cowl. You can compare the ESM exhausts and the mine.

There is a detail of the canopy rails. On the first Stuka I used only the outer bigger brass rail and pin in the canopy. It was fine, but the opening wasnīt smooth. Now I put other smaller rail into the bigger one. Going to put thin film of some grease on the small rail.

I used some wood cylinders and damaged cowl from another Stuka to set the engine. The rear exhaust is better in the cowl than the side one.

Christmas morning I spent in workshop. Weeks ago I bought a new fuel tank, so I had drill bigger hole in the tank mounting and finally glued the pins in the wing. For me this wing job is the worst part of the ESM projects. Would be better if there will some marks for the pins and drilled holes in the fuselage.

I donīt like the foamy ESM wheels and bought some another 4.5". The central part is made frome some light plastic. I drilled bigger hole and glued by 5 minute epoxy the brass tube into the center.

Brass rails are glued and the servo mounting is cut out. Now there is space for the cockpit. But the fuselage in the wing section is not strong enough, I will glass it tomorrow.

Fuselage is glassed. Now I have time prepare some details cockpit. The main part is rear twin MG- Mauser MG-81Z. The easiest way is to print it by 3D printer, but this Stuka will be only semi-scale warbird.

There was a problem with the throttle servo. I made new servo bay and glued it to the firewall. Also the tail wheel is installed with the servo. The Mounting for this servo is under the central part of the cockpit. Between the pilot and gunner.
