Default P47 pics & 3 views

Have an up coming P47 bubble project starting soon and dont have as much info on paint schemes and 3 views as I want. Looking for web info and pic assortment for ideas. Search engines have not helped much.

No offense but you gotta try a bit harder in your search. There are a ton 'o pics available.

Firstly, go to images.google.com and do a thunderbolt p-47 search
images.google.com/

Then try some of these:

www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/research/p47.htm
scroll to page bottom

www.eaglestrikeproductions.com/cgi-bin/amddecals.pl?scale=48&setid=083&dbs=aeromaster&pgs=2&currpg=1&dclimg=ad48083

www.eaglestrikeproductions.com/cgi-bin/amddecals.pl?scale=48&setid=348&dbs=aeromaster&pgs=2&currpg=1&dclimg=ad48348

www.airbum.com/photos/P-47Thunderbolt3.jpeg
(a nice cockpit pic)

www.avnet.co.uk/tfc/p-47d/img/p-47d_05.jpg

Those oughta get you started (I mostly searched for the razorback pics so my bookmarks mostly reflect those...however, I have a ton of them and the razorback is harder to find!)

Default Jug

Lenny, you might try dropping by www.aeromaster.com and searching for decals for the Jug in the various scales. The web site usually shows several views of each color scheme and if you find something you really like you can always order the decals. I also have the Squadron Signal "Walk Around" book on the P-47 and it is highly recommended. Good luck, Chad.

Scale Aircraft Modelling out uf the UK...November 1999 issue. Volume 21 number 9 is an issue you cant do without. 35 color profiles with info about Allied countries flying big Jugs. Aero Detail 14 P-47 thunderbolt . Squadron/Signal publications has at least 4 that I have: P-47in the pacific,P-47 walk around, p-47 in action, P-47 in Europe, And Detail & Scale has P-47 t-bolt volume 54 d&s that includes all production versions.
