I have a servo for rudder and nose gear.
Can you help in how to set it up with a spare channel and not use a Y harness?
I have the 9 channel reciever and have gear in ch5 , flaps Y in ch6.

Why don't you want to use channel 4, the rudder stick?

Use a mix. Make rudder the master and whatever aux channel you have free as the slave for the nose gear servo.
