Default USAF Aggressor Sqdn Paint Nmbrs?

Can anybody help with the FS paint codes for the tan and 2 shades of blue in the attached? Thanks for any clues.

Mike, I don't know the exact colors but here are all the FS colors and their numbers. http://www.fed-std-595.com/FS-595-Paint-Spec.html Might be able to kind of "guess-timate" a color because the pic and our monitors can show different than in person. Hope this helps.

I think it's missing the tan/light brown ... ? But maybe I need to look at my reference photo more carefully. Thanks for the help!

There is no tan or light brown on that plane. That scheme is what is refered to as the F-16 Smurf and is the same as these other F-16s. I think what you're seeing is just the angle of the sun against the gray. Also, if you post this over in the jets forum there used to be some guys that actually worked on these planes that can give you any other informaiton you might need, I believe John Redman in particular.

I'm thinking you're right about the light and I know the Smurf: there's one on a stick outside the Red Flag bldg at Nellis where I used to hang out. For some reason I still have this implant of tan on my brain. (I know John Redman/visited him when he still worked on black jets at elsewhere/Holloman and the Vipers at Edwards - helped me with my Bandit way back when)

Thanks for the additional pictures.

Mike
