f4u corsair model selection
guys,
Im looking to purchase a larger size corsair about 70" to 80" wingspan while keeping the weight under the 7kg heavy model. Also wish to run a petrol engine hence the size preference. The only one I know of at the moment is the CMpro 120 size it seems to have a general good overall report but before I jump in I just wont to know if there are any other arfs out there i should check first.
thanks

RE: f4u corsair model selection
I am working on a bryan Taylor corsair - 82", recommended 1.8 engine. He built his at 15 lbs, but most come out significantly heavier. Bob Holman sells the plans, as well as lasercut parts and some accessories (canopy, fiberglass cowl, and fibergalss parts for the LE gull sections). It's a pretty quick build for most, I am way bogged down in mine cuz I'm modifying it to a -5n. PITA. There is a great build thread on www.rcscalebuilder.com if you're interested.
