Scratch Building - Model Cad???
Hi All, I've gotten the itch to build a nice big old warbird from scratch...do my own plans and all that too. I'm looking for input on any of the various software programs such as Model Cad. I've also heard that there is one or two just to do airfoils? I'm computer literate, but don't want to get involved in anything that I would have to go back to school to learn how to use. I have all of the Dave Platt videos which are excellent, but I don't know...I just want t find out about what software is available to us modelers and how it is to use. Some pics of your results would be cool too.

Rob,
I prefer to do this with a pencil and drafting table. I spend too much time at work with cad, so this is a great way for me to get interested in designing my own. This 97" span jug will be reality some day when I get the chance to finish her. Good luck!
