OK, I'm back.
Just made the ply end caps for the center section and wing panel ends. This part of the build really slows down. There is a lot of test fitting to make sure everything mates right. There will be a lot of filling since I have a lot of dings and dents in the wing. I'm too lazy to clean off the bench and everytime I put the wing down I get another scar. LOL.

Hey all,
Roughed out the belly fairing for the tailwheel, I'm out of parts for the plane, this is good. LOL I will be making the sliding canopy rails and hope to get the canopy area done. Need to make an access hatch for the elevator linkage. Hinge all the controls. Then lots of spackle and sanding. I'll have a couple of pictures of this plane altogether soon. I need to see it assembled. Get's tedious working on different sub assemblies. LOL
thanks,
Fred

Got a chance to do some more work. I have cut the slot for the canopy rails. I borrowed this idea for cutting the slots from Sam Parfitt on his build of the AT 6. I asked if I could use his idea. If you want to see some fantastic craftsmanship go check out Sam's build. I doubled up on the cutoff wheels which cut a larger slot. Then I used the next size down on the sliders where the canopy will bolt to. This makes for an easy slide with no binding. I used 2/56 treaded rod to make the studs and soldered them into the slider. These will then be bolted to the canopy.
