Default P-40 tailwheel doors

Im building a bates P-40 and was wondering if someone knows of a simple way to get the tailwheel doors open to the scale position. Moving the doors open is easy but on the p-40 it looks like they open about 100 degrees. Jug guys could probably answer this question as well. PS Im using electric gear and the tailwheel is operated by a servo, so no air pumps.

Hmmmm I was working on a set of turnbuckles to move the gear doors out (pushrod type) ala the real deal They use a set od pushrods from the tailwheel to the doors If I remember correctly. otherwise you could try to put a spring which opens them out with a tether to0 close them when the wheel hits it.
Good Luck
