The Avenger was designed by Charlie Kellog. He can provide the plan and the fiberglass bits only, but I believe several kit cutters do provide this kit. I think I was one of the first to get the plans and the fiberglass pieces from Charlie. He was very pleasant to deal with.

I began to cut out parts for the C. Kellog plans. Glennis had some nice scale wheels but I've invested in Sierra gear and a nice whomping Saito 450 to pull it around.

Nice work for sure.

Glennis had some nice scale wheels
We still do - they just aren't shown on the website right now.

Sorry, not much progress this last month due to kids activities.

I need to get started on the door hinges and the canopy frame/sliding mechanism.

Gibb, the pictures look great. I am glad to see that you are making good progress on the Avenger and look forward to seeing your updates. If you need any info on the canopy slide and operating mechanism I would be glad to send you a .pdf file of the air cylinder design that I used.

I just received last week from Charlie Kellogg the whole package. Plans , hand cut kit , plastics ,fiberglass cowling ,torpedo kit and a construction CD. Plans are very detailed and easy to follow. The wood cutting is excellent and the CD is a good motivator to start building. The CD shows the plane at different stages of construction after the frame is completed including sliding canopy details. I am waiting for my 3w75 to arrive and need to order retracts. I plan to start building by end of summer. Charlie is a great person to deal with and really puts out a very nice product. Wish him the best.
