Not trying to sell it, just saying it's here, so it should show up at LHS soon. I live about five minutes from Kyosho America, so I'm not sure what the price might be around here.

I called Kyosho America and a rep there told me that there will be a small batch shipped out this week of the next.
Then they should get another larger second shipment in towards the end of this month.
The explanation was that there was a "complication" with the new Spitfire that caused delays with the Focke Wulf.
I know of at least three other guys that have ordered this 190 thru the LHS here in Sacramento.

What seems strange to me: Tower Hobbies and Kyosho more or less grew up together, and helped make each other. Not it seems as if Tower has abandoned the Kyosho line of ARFs like a red-headed step child (no offense to red headed step children). Makes me wonder, what went wrong?
BTW, I had the Stearman: What a blast it was to fly with a Saito .56. It got mid-aired by a P-47 (P-47 went down too). Also had the "Flash" electric. Always wanted one of their Corsairs, but never put up the $$$ for one.

A couple of years ago, I asked both good LHSs in my area "what happened to Kyosho", and both of them said the ARFs they made a few years back went wrong. They had lousy quality assurance and people wouldn't buy them.
I tried to order the P40 a couple of years ago and the LHS didn't want to get it for me. That's when I asked him. I got it from the Kyosho dealer in Miami and turned out to have less than average covering, and the horizontal stabilizer is a weak design and fluttered. I went to low motor as soon as I heard it and saved it. That's how I know the stab design sucks. I redid it and it flies decent. If the LE wood is hard balsa, it should do ok, but mine wasn't, and just a LE isn't good enough.

RE: Will Kyosho's FW-190 hit the US?
Well, I ve got 4 kyosho planes including the fiberglass corsair, ME-109 and the new Spitfire. The only quality isses were the OLD style covering they use to put on the 40 size planes and maybe aq little lacking on glue near the firewall. It is no longer like that on the newer planes. As far as the horizontal stab.....I've never had an issue on the ME-109 or the Corsair.
