Stuka - rivets & panels?
Does anyone have any detailed close up photo showing the rivets and panels for any part of a Stuka? I am getting ready to start on the rivets, but can't find a lot of good photos of this detail.
Thanks,
Jeff

The Stuka has a combination of raised and flush rivets. Most are flush, but the fuselage underside has raised.
I used an old Revell plastic model, to get rivett locations, and patterns.

Tom,
Thanks for the information. I have been looking everywhere for the details. Maybe a plastic kit would be helpfull?

A good plastic kit contains invaluable information. You'll probably be on your own, as far as the raised vs flush rivet dillema, though.
I believe that Aero Detail has a book about the JU 87 D, containing some pics. You haven't stated which version you are building, but rivet info should work for both, with minor variances.

Tom,
I have several good books, but they don't show too much detail of the fuze area behind the cockpit. I am doing a D-model Stuka. The books show good detail around the engine area, but not much elsewhere. Maybe I will just go with raised rivets everywhere unless I see come places they aren't from photos.

I think I have just about every book published on this airplane, and the Aero Detail (no. 11) is probably the best for what you are seeking. It's anywhere from $35 - $50 on ebay, but worth it in the end. Lots of close-up photos of every part of the aircraft.
