thanks for that, there looks to be a panel either side just up from TE of the fillet, that should do nicely to hide a couple of switches
cheers

This site has several very good drawings of the Tempest and other warbirds. There are profile and cut aways. The only problem is that they are in zip files. I have not had any problems with viruses from the site.

Hello Peter OZ,
I was wondering if you have the Top Flight Sea Fury? My wife bought me one for Christmas. I am going to get started on it as soon as I finish my son's Tiger 60. From what I have read on here, the kit needs alot of nose weight to get the correct CG. I was planning on glassing mine (first attempt at glassing) but thought that might add more weight to the tail. It will be several months before I have to make the decision. If you don't mind, any thoughts/suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Pete

mate sorry no mine is the Vailly 90" version.

Glassing if done correctly add about a poothteenth of a bee's dick in weight.

Have you built the tail feathers yet? If not suggest you lighten them by drilling holes through ribs etc to reduce excess weight.

Have a look in the Corsair threads as several of the guys there used that technique.

Good luck
cheers

"poothteenth of a bee's dick"

A WHAT!

Thanks for the advise. Haven't started anything. Just opened the box at Christmas to look at the directions and ALL THOSE PIECES! I am in for some fun. rally want to try glassing, panel lines and maybe even rivets,...........maybe. I will check out those Corsair builds. And I am sure I will have a lot of questions to post when I get started.
Thanks again,
Pete
