Boy you pick an interesting variant. This sounds like one you might have to have custom made. There is a guy in Australia who has this variant. I think yoiu can find him on rcscalebuilder. The cockpit kit is also kinda dicey. Good luck and let us know what you find. How far along are you into the build?

Funny that you bring up the AD-5 Skyraider. I have been working on plans and cowling, canopy etc. for a 103" AD-5 for the last 1 1/2 years. I plan to release the plans this summer.

Bleinmiller,

I wasn't aware that Ziroli had the option for the AD-5 (A-1E) variant. I've been looking for a set of plans for the A-1E.

Firebar, would be interested in your set of plans also, please keep us updated.

I believe that you are correct Ziroil has an A-1 Skyraider but that is the only variant that is available. The only AD-5 Skyraider that I have ever seen modeled was done by a guy in Australia. The AD-5 has a great history and wore many different color schemes for both the Navy and Air Force. That is why I decided to model it. I will have plans and all of the parts available by mid summer. If interested see my ad for Kellogg Plans in Highflight.

A belated thanks for the tips. You're right of course, Ziroli only makes the one model of the Skyraider. I simply erred in the way I titled the subject for the thread. I have found an A-1H canopy for the Ziroli Skyraider from American Eagle, or I guess I should say one that will fit the Ziroli Skyraider. Havn't called to check on the price yet, but he's usually pretty reasonable on his prices. I havn't even started the build yet Ram-Bro. My house is a mess and I need to get a good work surface set up that will support this size of project. Thanks again for the responses.
