WTB: warplane corsair/p51
what can i say? i love the corsairs and mustangs! Im lookin at PZ P51 D RTF and the PZ F4U Corsair PNP (need to buy extra equiptment *good for long run* or pay an ass load for a RTF foamie)
I have gusty wind and it varies very much during the day. Windy, calm, big gust, calm, subtle breeze (repeat every 45 seconds)
without buying a balsa plane and wrecking it (which ill cry cuz theyre not cheap) will either of these birds handle wind well? I have 2 F27b's and a C and they fly GREAT in wind! Yes, i crank up the throttle on both models. Im no noob but im not a seasoned pilot. Speed is no issue for me, its control in wind. both planes look great but i dont know which one is better?
any other 'stangs/corsairs that'll take wind and reasonably priced. (not above $300) Ive just been on the HH website lookin around..
opinions?
Thanks!
Michael

Ok, I have never flown the pz p-51 but I heard it is a dog and has many little problems. I have the pz spitfire and it is a wonderfully flying plane. It is realy your decision to get the pnp or rtf. Ill be buying the rtf. I dont want to buy the batteries. The t-28 is a wonderfull flying airplane as well.
