Thanks guys for the thumbs up
Dave yes the legs are longer, I moved the retracts closer to the fuselage, the longer legs and bigger wheels gives just over 50mm- 2'' more in length

Ty makes GREAT stuff!
Hi Ty! Long time, no see, sir! I don't mean to high-jack this thread, but everybody should know how wonderful your products really are! I'm starting work on my ESM JU-87B Stuka, now that I'm "retired!" Would you happen to have any parts for it, other than your FANTASTIC cockpit kit and canopies that I already have? Your parts are so much better than the brittle OEM arf parts (many already cracked when I got them!) that came with the plane! I'm looking for a 4 1/2 inch 3-blade spinner, and some shock-absorbing struts, if you (or any of our friends!) might know where I can find them! Sorry for being "off topic", but Ty's parts really are that good! Blue Skies, Blair

Well after plenty of delays and other builds sneaking in my 109 is finally on the build table.
Will post some pics of the progress as it occurs.
What servos have people used on this build so far?
Thanks
Dave

Hello all ..... Just picked up a used CMP 109 (empty) and of course am looking for a aftermarket spinner.
As far as i know fliteskin is the only option at this point in time with their beautiful highly crafted carbon fiber unit but at $150 price tag hard to justify for this project.
Wondered if anyone might have anything available .... either new or used would be OK .. and so, please PM me with what you have. Kind Regards. Baron

Good luck! Not too many outfits making custom spinners these days. Gene Barton retired. Fliteskin used to offer an aluminum one for $99, perfect size, and what I have on mine. This guy makes custom spinners but they are pricey; https://www.tag-model-spinners.com/spinner/

Thanks WWIIP38 ... (a little luck sure wouldn't hurt) and am already aware of Tag Models .. as mentioned very pricey!
Yeah I've checked around .. Ty no longer makes his 109 spinner, same with Dave Platt and as you said Gene Barton is retired. Yes i spotted Prekin's very nice sensibly priced spinner too at $56 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Giant-1-5-s...IAAOSwggJe90uG unfortunately, at 150mm it's simply too large .........
Nonetheless someone out there has something kicking around and so, im hoping i'll here from them. Regards. Baron

A local guy to me has started making a spinners for the CMPro 109.

its not on his website but if you send Russ an email you get the info. He spins the dome and it will be a machined backplate.
He has one of the original kit spinners to copy the shape
thanks

Thanks and i appreciate the thought Dave .... but shipping from Oz for that size parcel has be at least $50-60 alone, not to mention his cost but i'll check it out and am happy to share any info or photos i receive ... After all, at this point in time, any new CMP spinner source is helpful no matter where!
.... Meanwhile im still looking ..........

russ sells spinners to the US all the time. I recommend you ask him first instead of guessing. Plus with the exchanger are the way it is it will work out far more favorably for you
