One thing that jumps out at me is that the canopy frames are not painted. Will KMP carry matching paint so the canopy frames can be painted by the modeler?
In my opinion, nothing looks nastier on a scale plane than canopy frames painted a completely different color than the rest of the plane or one that isn't painted at all.

Honestly, I'm a little impressed. The overall shape is decent for a 110. I need to see more details of the nose and the engine pods (I can never spell nacelle properly so I wont try).
This is the first KMP I'm actually thinking about buying.

Actually if you look close the frames do look like they are painted to match the dk. geen camo. They keep coming out with some nice subjects.

I'm guessing here but it's possible that the plane in the picture is a prototype of the soon-to-be-offered ARF. As such, the small details like a painted canopy frame are usually omitted. And if the final product came through unpainted, so what? It's no big deal to paint the framing. Besides, look at everything else!! Man, this boy looks GREAT!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to reading the specs........wingspan, engine size range, etc. I gotta start playing the lottery!

Great ! Now I have to order another plane from Andrew [8D] Any specs on the plane yet? Looks great and would be a good candidate for electric conversion too!

Hello all. It looks like I'll have to buy another KMP ship. From what I can see, the shape of the plane is good. I like the size(scale). I just hope they offer an unfinished version and that a couple of small gassers are not too much for it. Time to start saving the $$.
Later,
Mike

Maybe the builder/owner of this 110 will reply. I thought he/she did an excellent job on this bird. Good color scheme too. Yellow engine cowls easier to see at far end of field.
With nitro prices rising and not knowing the single engine flight statis of the new KMP BF110 yet,,, gas or electric would be the way to go. (At least till someone flys one right engine out.)
Thank you Andrew !!!!!!!
(Andrew,,,, is there a Fiesler Storch ARF on the backburner of your mind ? If so put me down for one of those too.) Death by Wife~~~~

Velkom is out of business now. Occasionally you will find one of the Bf110's on Ebay or even around here. I got mine from here about 24 months ago. Very well done glass fuse and the obecee covered foam wings were spotless.
I'll have to find the German site that does the Bf 110. Its not a small bird.

closeup of the canopy, looks unpainted at this point in development, you can even see the clear material wrapping down over the nose logo..Shouldn't be to tough to make it look good though.. A little taping, scuffing and paint, you are good...

Ok, put me on the waiting list. It should be an easy electric conversion plan and it looks like the canopy can be removed to acess the batteries and electronics too. I am hoping the WS is around 85-90 inches and the weight is 16-20 lbs. A couple 60 size electric motors and it will be a good flyer.
