Thanks. A lot of lessons learned over the two years...and a few more still to learn. The technology has changed so fast since I started this conversion...with the far superior ESC, data logging and 45C batteries...it all came together.

I will get some good video and photos of this 262 posted in the future.

Very nice video. Was cool that the little up elevator on final approach before the landing flare was exactly scale to the gun camera footage of the full scale. Good watching. Fantastic job.

Casey,

Well I've been out of the RC loop for a while...Uncle Sam had plans for me over in Kabul....so did my 13 months and got back CONUS about two months ago. I had to send in my ESC's for the Castle recall and re-install. I also have upgraded to 65C packs. I will bring the 262 out to a local Scale event at PVMAC later this month...and if all goes well...I will have this out at WOTR later this summer. If she places well at the event later this month...I will post some pictures.

Did BVM ever get back to you on the fans that were sent to them?

That issue resolved sometime ago. Never did figure out why those fans didn't work for this application. Still head scratching.

I fly the eBandit with EVF2 in it and its 190 plus all day with 6 minute flights. So there a good product. Maybe just finicky.

The ME-262 wins Big Jolt all electric event. Feels good to get her out flying again as she sat for a year while Unlce Sam had travel arrangements for me. Nice to finally get her out and infront of a large crowd. Everything pretty much the same just running 65C Lipos now. Thanks Burley and Fassbinder for the team project here....good to get a win with a "Real twin" EDF 262.

For the most part all worked out. Could do a few things to get her better performance but I'm happy for now. Burley probably on the top of the twin EDF game after finishing a Gruminia 262 kit using the DS HST fans. That fan is getting about 6-8 pounds more thrust per fan than my TF4000. Plus they have Lipo access more dialed in than me, as I still have to access by removing wing (pain).

All in all for a project started over 3 years ago the 262 is holding her own and is impressive to see and hear in flight. The fans sound like turbines.

Also won Best WW1 for my Lothar Richthofen Fokker. Had a theme at the event WWI through Jet age...all Luftwafe birds. Cool to see the Fokker next to the 262.
