Gary, same here! Thanks for the kind words, sure we will see each other next season. I really don't like grass runways - but Paradise field was even and had no surprises. Say hi to your brother. About the MG-1 read below...

JSZ, yeah that was a bunch of fun Well, Sunday I was early on the road and the traffic was light. By the time I passed the New Orleans exit I felt very good and kept on going. By midnight I pulled in the driveway of my house. 1200 miles in 17hrs...eat, fuel and stretching legs took one hour. Maybe on the next trip[8D] Saved me a day vacation...

Ty, this a 21th century 1/6 scale Stuart M5 reconnaissance. I have that tank for a long time. Anyway, I cut the inner fenders already and modified the rear drive axle and wheels. This weekend the tank has his last showing with the M5 skin, also this is a test with more weight. After that the chassis will be cut down and the work starts on the Cletrac.
I don't know yet how much I change the drive and road wheels of the M5 here are one of my drawings of the Cletrac drive...

Over time guys PM me to see how and what Betty Page is doing. Well, I sold the P-38M and the last what I know she is just flying fine.

There where also questions what I'm doing - as usual I have a project, now this time it is not an RC Airplane. It is a replica of a 1963 FIA AC Cobra originaly introduced by Carrol Shelby - god bless his soul.
I don't think I have to mention the car is scratch build.
Anyhow, now you guys know.

Nice to see you around these parts again G-PETE!
I've wondered how your car was coming along.

The donor was just to have some initial measurements, motor dimensions, mount locations, weight - 50/50 weight distribution and the electrical harness. On a junker part you can grind, weld and cut around - no worries about damage. After that you replace the part with a new one .
BTW, it is not a kit car - it is fully scratch build.

The CSX 3134 was always one of my favorites - but your car looks very nice too. I hope to attend this year London OH.
Thanks, keep the rubber down!

Hi Pete,

I'm have juist finishend building my ziloli p38 and was wondering did you also turned THE cylinderhead and piston on THE reversed engine? I have found that if you do not, you Will have a compression difference beween both engines. Normally you can also check this difference when rotating THE prop by hand. You feel a difference when turning it to THE left and comparing with THE compression when turning it to THE right and vice versa.

Ronald.

Now all you need is an aluminum body, my panel beater at the shop worked building the original bodies in the UK, we can build one for you if you like.

Hi Pete. Great build and rebuild. I am going through the same process now and I was wondering how on earth you fit those DA-85's into the cowl. I know your model is a P-38 "M" and the plans are for a "J" but I still measure at least 0.5" protrusion for a 85 out of the cowl as shown on the plans. Tell me your secret! haha.

Will someone post the width of the Ziroli P38 with wings removed, please include wing tubes for overall width.

Thanks, Nelson
