Awesome. I've been building one of these Mustangs since February. Almost ready to start fiberglassing. All the control surfaces have been built and I've hinged the ailerons and flaps. I just got the canopy yesterday and as soon as I get the retracts back from Robart, I'll be ready for the final install. I'e been doing a build thread on GiantScaleNews.com/ Should I post some of the pictures I've taken here?

I remember the old Nosen kits. They were inexpensive and were powered by a geared .60. Did anyone ever see one fly on a .60?

I have a friend that said people would drive to the next state to see a Nosen try to fly on a geared 60 .... He had one in a Nosen trainer..and he said you had to have PERFECT weather, the engine had to be dead on, and everything had to be just right to get one in the air and climbing out. you might get a chuckle out of the old gear reduction setup I had a friend modify.

I've got a Nosen Cessna 310 that was supposed to fly on the same .60 size engines. I've got 2 x 26cc gas engines on it and I have to baby it around the field. I'm thinking the best engines might be DLE 35s. This mustang I'm building has a DLE 85 on it. I'm thinking that will be a little better than geared 60.

Looks like the P-51 is Taking shape,, I know it is lot of wood to shape but worth the effort.. I went to the club field today the weather was poor it looked like it was going to rain and windy so I flew my Dynaflite Chipmunk, It does not burn holes in the sky but i did get a flight in.

These are J'Tec exhaust manifolds. They're designed to work as actual exhausts but I couldn't make it work. Sooo, I did the next best thing and made them vents for the cowling.

Custom made servo access! Made 4 of them. Sometimes I do good work! Post some of your pics, this is a great plane that deserves a little attention.

Bringing this thread back from the dead.
I'm wanting to know if the plans are still available and how I may purchase a set?

I PM'd the OP but have not had a response.

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the reply.
Are they the Nosen plans or the re-drawn plans as done by RCWarbirdBuilder?
I'm looking for the OP's plans that this thread is based on if possible.
