The last few pictures I promise. Some pictures of the kit as it arrives from Germany first into Grahams hands. One picture in there is of a plastic model which served as his guide in the paint scheme as there was little documentation. That's it for tonight guys. I'm off to check on Mary one last time just to be sure that it's all not a dream!!

All the best,
Scott

Thanks Graham for the kind words. Everything was perfect today. The weather, plane, and my flying buddies. Thanks to everyone that showed up and helped out where they could. A couple of my friends are on there wayy home and promised to send me the flying photos and movie that had been taken. I'll give you the few static photos from this morning that I have. The rest will come later when I get them. I saw the raw video footage and my buddy Paul Wilson did a spectacular job. Can't wait to see it posted on YouTube myself!!

The Moki 250 was strong as an ox swinging a Solo Prop 30", 3 blade set to 17.25" pitch turning about 4200rpm static. The gear and sliding canopy were flawless. Although I think the compression springs in the gear could be beefed up. They bottom out a bit on taxi on bumpy grass.

Don't know what else to say...still on cloud 9. What a great maiden. Rock solid and very nicely behaved on take off and landing. Smooth, very smooth! Thanks again to Graham for putting together and painting the finest Plane I've had the pleasure to own. that's all for now until I get the other photos and video.

Round engines Rule,
Scott

Man o man Scott. I'm glad I changed classes at TG this year. I won't have to compete against that 'Cat. Just that plane's presence is mind boggeling. Mitch

Pete, Mitch, G-Pete & Barry...Thanks. Aaaaawwwww...you're so kind.

Barry, you're goona be in love with this puppy. So sweet, smooth, and mean all in one airframe. Call me whenever. I tried you today but the messege said it was a "new" phone and the mail system was not up and running yet so I couldn't leave anything. Did I mention how much you're going to love this sucker! Holy Crap is it nice and the 250 Moki is so perfect. What a hot rod!

I'm dying for my buddy to get the video done. It's a pain to do but he will get it done and I will slap it on everywhere right away.

Cheers Guys,
Scott

Thanks Brother Gregg! Guess "chunky" is the new sexy???

Here's the first video release from my friend Paul. Somehow the low passes got cut out but I think with a little bit of time and editing he'll get it right and re-release an edited version. Turn the sound up!! [sm=bananahead.gif] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGwR9yag34I

How about a big thank you [sm=thumbup.gif] to Mr. Paul Wilson for posting a rough cut video at 11pm the same day of the Maiden. You're the best Paul, thanks!!!
