A tad AWSOME, nice sound, good looking model, am i jealous? YOU BET!!! The wildcat retracts have to be the most akward to model, your U.S.A aircraft designers just did NOT think of us poor modellors!!!!! but doesnt it look superb

That is just awesome. I have a Bates 1/5 Wildcat with a Saito 450r and still this one is better. I suspect this one is scratch build though meaning they did it from pencil and paper.
There are a couple of real nice build treads on rcscalebuilder.

Hi All,
I will try and get some more info on her,she sure is sweet and it is great to see somthing other than the P51'S Corsa's.
Knowing our friends from Germany this may well be a new kit ,as it looks like a silver gel cote with all the little dinks and dents on her.
Had a chat with Darrell today, and he might have somthing in store if there is enough intrest
Cheers Graham B

Brilliant!
I think all war birds should be banned if they don't include one of those multi Moki's.
What a great sound.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
Great stuff.

Ram-bro, my building table is full of Wendell Hostetler Jungmeister parts right now. I have a Saito 325 for it. Then I should have a KMP Me 110 coming in early March. I should have the repair starting after that. Just not enough time and to many planes!!! I really hope this Wildcat is not a kit and never comes to the USA. It would be to much of a temptation and I don't see it coming in under 55 pounds. Bob Patton built a 1/4 Wildcat for Bob Walker (Robart) a few years back and it was over 55 pounds by a fair margin. Still this video is truly GREAT!

Hi All,
No News as yet, but I did find this on RC Videos allong with the other vids you have all seen.
http://www.rcuvideos.com/video/Wildcat-Retract-Gear
GFischer is the guy who does that lovely big P51 so it looks like he is our man. here is his web page http://p51mustang.p5.funpic.de/phpkit
As you can see the P51 gell coat looks the same as the Wildcat's finish.
Cheers Graham B

gorgeous model, bet the old USMC pilots would have loved that sort of power to weight ratio though. Wonder how those donks would go if they were loaded up with more pitch to lower the rpm?
Love the 3 point landing.
