Default Show Me a Great AT-6/SNJ Scheme To Model

Okay gang...here's your chance to show me a great AT-6/SNJ color sheme for my Top Flite kit build! I've seen a few paint jobs that I like but just know some of you have some super nice ideas. Share 'em here and help me get a scheme going to motivate the build. (Might even share the build if there's enough interest.) Thanks!

Thanks, guys!

Tony, the blue tail looks better to me than the red one as per the kit box top....and now your plane matches that airplane stand in the second photo too . Nice looking model.

Brad, that is way COOL. Did you notice the paint scheme was copied on the prop!!? What an idea.

My Midwest is done in a 1946 New Mexico National Guard Scheme. I didn't have any pics to base it on, only a description.

Here are a few unique schemes. That plain yellow and aluminum Texan is getting a little sickening IMO. I'll look around for some more unique ones.

Here's a couple of other good lookers. I was considering all of these when I did mine.

Default RE: Show Me a Great AT-6/SNJ Scheme To Model

Thanks again, folks! I went to the airliners.net site and spent quite a bit of time studying photos. Haven't viewed 'em all yet though I'm sure having fun looking. Larry, I do like the two photos of the number 3 plane (OD green and yellow) and the Marines number 13 plane in your "good lookers". I also like the Shell aerobatics team colors. For sure, yellow screams "Texan" but there are some great options out there for a scheme that will look just a bit different on the flightline and in the air.

Soft landings.
