OMG LDM! You blow my skills right out of the water. When I had this CMP FW190 if you remember... for me it was a total nightmare and I never completed it. I'll be keeping an eye on this one, I've seen your Corsair LDM... I like your work.

Thanks Pete , but that is not true , I have seen your work , its excellant !!!
I am waiting the arrival of some G10 and some other thinner flight skin type material and I will post some more pics of the tail and inside of the fuse ect . I know the RCU guys like more pics and less chatter from me lol

sorry guys , dont know why there posting Giant , but if you click on them , they go to normal size .
Aslo build the battery boxes behind the firewall , I have the foam lines 2700 battery for the ignition and an 18oo pack on the radio .
I have the bigger battery on the left side of the fuse to help with lateral balance and the smaller battery on the right - (same size as the carb )

Thanks for that nice comment LDM. I changed my account a bit, I wanted to re-do everything here at RCU. Keep up the good work... I'm enjoying this thread so far.

Thanks , I posted some on RC Groups as well , for some reason that site seems to allow for 6 pics at one time with ease .
I just installed my two robart air-controllers one for the retracts and one for the canopy .
So far I have all my weight moved up front , I am hopeing to have the first FW190 that does not need tail weight !!!
I am going to post some pics later tonight on my battery boxes and valve set up

I am useing two H81 on the airvalves , my 2700 amh battery is right side behind the firewall in a battery box , 17amh battery is left side in a battery box , large air tank (retracts ) is under the main fule tank , the small canopy taik is under the air valves .
Made air valves "holders" out of G10 , almost everything is ahead of the CG or on the CG

RE: cmp FW190 fun scale bash
The interior was from IMP scale , both a great strart and very reasonable , around $35 vs much less details you would get from Dynamic Balsa and at a much higher price .
I made a ton of mods , for one the map container was on the wrong side ect , I save junk truely junk like unused straws , coffie stirers , clear acetate that come free with toys and eletronics . Then for about $10 you buy white small tubes plastic , and some white plastic rails ect , all can be made into boxes , dials, knobs ect .
WIth your modleing skills you would have zero problems at all , the bigget issues for me was getting accurate pictures with depth and detail . i found myself adding things for an Fw190 , then realized it was either an early model or late making my addition wrong . Or on the right side the fuse container should have depth and almoset look like a deep plater of sushi , instead mine looks like its stuck on top .
In one pic I noticed a bettery box , left side rear panel , so I added it and found it was not on any of the Fw190 in any other pic lol . In the future I need better research , I think making the parts is easy , its making the correctly . I am following a P40 build (yellow) the interio detail is incrediable but so is his resources , he has great pics and is doing masterful work .

LDM - thanks for the invite to see your ARF bash. All I can say is "WOW". This is a part of the hobby that I've not seen before. Most of our club members are into sport flying with the old basic Hanger 9 or SIG plane. The attention you guys pay to detail is fantastic. I'm guessing that the research is exhausting (or real love). Now I understand why these babies need to be good sized - with all of the details it would be impossible to get it right in a small package.
Emmmm, gotta do some rethinking ...

Thanks , ya the size helps with the details . The funny thing about the CMP planes is that most of the wings are 1/6 scale but the fuse width and length is almost 1/5 scale .
Ok , after a long summer lay off so that I could go flying , I am getting back on my FW190 CMP Bash , tail is covered , horns are in , canopy air system is attached and working (will post come vids soon )
I am going to try to move this along a little faster , I know its get boreing when there drawn out [X(]to long
