My bad, that last pic is Austin's first Byron Hellcat. Here is number two which was even better, IMHO.

Maddog, I have the 100 degree in my proto and they fit perfect....

Jeff,

What did you use for a tailwheel in your bird?

Hey Maddog...how goes it?

I used a Robart tail wheel unit for my proto, but after having installed it I got this beautiful tail wheel from Earl Aune. It really is something!

My company Robcon is working on a 1/4 Hellcat composite airplane.
Landing gear is developed by Darryl at sierra giant.

Sounds great Mosquito...at 1/4 scale she will definitely have an impression in the air! And IMHO Darryl's gear are the way to go.

Best of luck with your project!

Jeff are you still making the hellcat? Is anyone still building or flying this plane? Any flight reports or video?
